This intermediate training video, featuring 30 videos, is by Knox Hutchinson, SPOTO trainer. It covers the knowledge network administrators must have to configure MPLS on Juniper devices. This allows for more efficient and custom traffic patterns, without compromising network security.
This is the new Juniper training.
Multiprotocol Label Switching (or MPLS) is a technology that is often used in corporate WANs and carrier networks. MPLS ensures packets get to their destination safely and efficiently, potentially bypassing more complicated routes that were procedurally generated. MPLS, as the name implies, adds, replaces, or strips labels to every packet that passes through the network. Each switch in the network knows what each label is.
MPLS isn’t exclusive to Juniper devices. However, the way that Juniper devices work with Junos OS to manage MPLS is unique. Juniper MPLS training will equip network administrators with the skills to increase bandwidth and improve uptime, as well as avoid some of the security pitfalls untrained administrators might introduce.
